Biography

Seila Fernández Arconada is a multidisciplinary artist-researcher. Her process-based practice explores artistic/transdisciplinary collaborative and participatory methods focusing on ecosocial contemporary concerns grounded in (g)local realities.

Seila has exhibited internationally as well as leading numerous multidisciplinary workshops and interventions, including Migration, Identity and Belonging (Mauritius),  Ukraine Lab. Communities Development in Post-Crisis Regions (Ukraine), Governing for Resilience in Vulnerable Places (Netherlands) and Transnational Dialogues (China). She has co-directed a number of transdisciplinary academic projects such The Land of the Summer People, a collaboration with the Water Engineering Department of the University of Bristol (UK) among others.
