Dr. Peter Mitchell is a cultural historian, experienced non-formal education trainer, and co-founder and Executive Director of Lernlabor. He holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of Edinburgh and has studied at the Free University in Berlin and the University of California in Berkeley. In the last five years, Peter has developed and implemented numerous educational and cultural projects in Germany, Ukraine, Greece and in Mali. In addition to facilitating and managing international projects, Peter contributes to current policy discussions surrounding non-formal education, youth work and inclusion. He has researched and written several articles for SALTO on the topics of solidarity and the impact of COVID on youth participation.
